The thatched, white-washed cottages, loosely based on the fishermen's houses in the Cape , are situated right on the waters' edge of the Walvis Bay lagoon.

A protected wetland, it is the ideal spot for birdwatchers. Large groups of greater and lesser flamingoes, pelicans, waders and a wide variety of other birds are to be seen here.

For those who enjoy walking, watersports or simply relaxing at the seaside, this is the place to be.

The self-catering cottages are comfortable and fully-equipped. Each can sleep up to between four and six people. Bedlinen and towels are provided, and each cottage has its own cosy fireplace, DSTV and lock-up garage. Should you wish to go kayaking, on a boat trip, sandboarding, or an excursion into the Namib, we will be happy to advise you. Restaurants are in walking distance, and
